Updates of March¶
A bunch of things have happened and I couldn't find the time to properly write about them. Right now I find myself waiting in a hospital (more on this later) and I can get some writing done.
Life¶
I met a new person and through my interactions with this person I have figured out a bunch of things about myself. This whole month has been a month of some deep reflection and introspection about myself. Most of this has been new information. I am adjusting well. The details of this are something that I will not share here. :)
This month also marked my first international trip to Singapore. I shall write about this in due time.
My other friend who was going through severe mental health issues needed some serious care and they are now doing much much better. This has been a relief for most of us. They are also doing really well in their career and things overall are really looking good for them. The amount of pride and joy I feel to witness their success cannot be put into words. :)
I went to Pune to meet the sisters and Pune-friends. That was a fun week. Post that we had the office trip to Singapore.
Towards the end of March, we discovered that the mother needs heart surgery. Even though the surgery is not too complex, it is still heart surgery. This is going-on as I type this.
Like I said, it has been a busy month.
I have started writing notes / posts in google-keep for when I am not available in front of my laptop. This has increased the number of things I write. I am also becoming more used to the idea of writing more honestly about how I feel about things. It is slightly scary, but thats alright. That is the point. :)
I have also subbed to /r/poetry and I find the sub to be very fascinating. :)

The Midnight Library¶
The book seems like a very long-winded way of saying that you can not live a perfect life that is free from some form of disappointment. You just do your best with what you have been given.
I will complete the book, but I don't think this book is going to be an important book for me. I can see myself forgetting about this book soon-ish.
Outdoors¶
Went to Singapore and Pune. They were week long trips each and I managed to clock about 20k steps on average each day.
Work¶
The work trip to singapore was in the end of March. This was a major milestone in my career. I have never been on a work trip and I have never been to a country other than Nepal. Nepal almost doesn't count because culturally we are very similar.
I have been working with the team for about 5 months now and this was the first time we were hanging out in person. This has been a very rewarding experience. Remote jobs tend to rob you of this crucial aspect of working from an office.
I liked interacting with the team.
Apart from this, the team-members were also very happy with the work I was doing. This is a very positive development. I have a good feeling about my work here at CloudFlare. Fingers Crossed :)
That's all.
