Update until Feb 16¶
Life¶
Last week was quite intense due to multiple reasons. A bunch of close people in my life were going through the wringer and I was there to support this. I felt that at some point I was getting stretched too thin. I did not sleep for more than 4 hours every single day during the week. That was significantly tiring. I was not able to workout / run. However I am glad that all of my friends are doing well now / on a path to do well.
I hung out with Tanvi after a long time. This was much much overdue and needed. I think we can make this a regular thing. Breakfast + co-working on friday mornings.
A baby brother (he is not a baby, but for me he is) is going through a major breakup. Poor thing. He is processing it well, which is always a good thing in my opinion.
I made a new friend :)
We kept running into each other at meetups and things and then we figured out a way where I would let them practise their motorcycle riding skills on my motorcycle. This is good for both of us because my motorcycle also gets used in the process. They have been coming over and we have a lot of fun riding the motorcycle / walking / dinner after.
I went to a boardgames thing that happens at Underline Center. I do not think this is my thing. There were a lot of people and the whole setup felt too busy for my comfort. I do see myself going there occassionally just to meet and hang with friends there. I ran into a bunch of acquaintances there.
I also worked out of Underline Center on Tuesday. Tuesdays for me have a bunch of calls and I am still trying to figure out how my days will look like when I work out of Underline.
I got double the amount of meat I normally get for my meal-prep. As a result I made some food and gave it to friends who all loved it. I am surprised by this feeling. A friend even asked me for the recipe.

Outdoors¶
Like I said, this week was not a very exercise / workout focused week; however there are some good highlights
- I started riding the bicycle more in the city for commute. It gets easier the more I do it.
- The brakes have improved on the bicycle.
- I was almost thrown out of the bicycle by a person driving their scooter extremely recklessly on the opposite side of the road.
- I have learnt how to do a stoppie where I can slide my rear wheel. It is fun. :P
- I can deadlift 110 kilos now and I can squat 85 kilos now. This is very surprising because it has been about a month I started working out and I am back at my previous levels. I know why this works theoretically, but it is always surprising when it happens.
- I miseed the second Giant Cycling Ride this week. The ride started very early and I was asleep.
- I finally have a mixed workout plan that I will be able to stick to. I have been following this for 3 weeks now.
Work¶
Last was a significant milestone at work. I presented a plan to work on a project which was accepted by the stakeholders. This week I will focus on hashing out a plan for implmenting the same. Overall I am very happy with the progress.
