July 5 Weeknote¶
Life¶
Life has been good in the last couple of weeks. I've started hanging out with a bunch of friends here and it feels like I have a solid group of friends. I can not tahnk Tanvi enough for making this happen. This was my main reason for moving to Bangalore. A fuller-life. A life that is less isolating that filled with friends and love. I am so fucking glad.
For the run, I also travelled to Pune. Pune is home to two of my school friends. Whenever I visit we stay in the same house and just chill in each others precense. Both of these people are going to get married in the next couple of years. It is good.
After Pune (and the race) I was headed to Raipur for the wedding of another friend. This was also great fun. Everyone is the group is going to be very disappointed in knowning that I have no intentions of getting married. I am very clear about this decision now, more than anything else.
I am also reading a lot more than I used to and I am also cooking a lot more too.
I am on a vegetarian diet since after the wedding in Raipur. I want to try out a different diet and see how my energy levels fare in this new syste. So far the changes have been okay, I do not see anything major amiss.

Work¶
I am very close to finishing my first major project at Cloudflare. This is a tool took a decent amount of my design and coding skills to write. I've owned big pieces like this before, but not something that is this distributed. To get this working I had to work through 4 / 5 different components; making changes where neccesary etc etc. This was fun. :)
